| A Call vs A Desire To Dance |
The Liturgical Dance Workshop was designed to aid
the Body of Christ in recognizing and
understanding the difference between a call and a
desire.
Dance is almost in every church today. We need
to ask the question, "How can you be in a dance
ministry but cannot dance?" Have you studied?
Are you planning to study?
The need for understanding is calling out as we
Levites attempt to lead the way. We follow what
is popular and try to lead without
understanding. By popular I do not mean popular
in the church, just popular!!
The arts, which is worship should never be
designed like the programs of the world because
of the sacredness of it. We should never use
worship to compete against each other and vie for
prizes. The call of a Levite is most precious
before God. Do not step in that position without
understanding what you have been called to and if
you have been called.
We pray the workshop enlightened hearts and even
helped some to understand that they are not
called to dance, they just like to do it and that
is okay. However, it is also important to find
out where you are not suppose to be.
